About Roar
Follow the lion.
We produce live shows, book international artists and advise businesses that work across borders. Roar is registered in South Africa, Zimbabwe, the United States and Belgium.
The short version
Roar started with a simple idea: the artists people in Harare and Johannesburg stream every day should be performing for them in person, not just for crowds in London and Atlanta.
Making that happen takes more than an offer letter. Visas, flights and security have to be arranged, sponsors brought in and a venue found that can take the production, and then the tickets have to sell. We handle all of it. Rick Ross at the HICC showed what we could do, and Boyz II Men, Fireboy DML and our work with BET International followed.
Alongside the shows, Roar Consulting advises businesses in trucking, mining and commodity trading. The two sides have more in common than you might expect. Both depend on relationships across borders and a team that does what it promises.
Shaleen “Ms Shally” Nullens

Ms Shally is the person you’ll deal with by email and on the phone. She was named in Forbes Africa’s 30 Under 30.
She co-founded Roar to put on big concerts with strong line-ups and proper production, and to promote Africa to the rest of the world along the way.

The 30 Billion Gang Africa Tour comes to the HICC, with Boity Thulo hosting.

Rick Ross at the HICC
Our biggest night of the year: Rick Ross, Nasty C, Holy Ten, Takura and Nutty O play a packed conference centre on 18 November.

Floyd Mayweather in Harare
The Motherland Tour reaches Zimbabwe in July, and our cameras are there when he lands.
- 2024
BET International
Our first collaboration with BET International: the nominees’ welcome celebration on the Grammy Museum rooftop in Los Angeles.
- 2025
Rap Arena Playoff
Roar and The Rap Arena take a playoff night to the Las Vegas Strip in November.
- 2026
Boyz II Men
Boyz II Men sing at a private wedding in Harare that the papers call the wedding of the decade.

Miss Universe Zimbabwe
The pageant trusts us with the entertainment for its finale, and Fireboy DML flies in.

What you can expect
Experience
Our team has contracted artists, run shows and closed consulting deals ourselves. We don’t just pass messages between other people.
Our own network
Promoters, agents, venues and operators in four countries, built up one relationship at a time.
Straight answers
When we say an artist is confirmed, the contract is signed. When we say we’ll call you back on Thursday, we call on Thursday.
